  • Professor biography

    Jeongmi Lee graduated Seoul National University with B.A. and M.A. degrees in Psychology, and received her Ph.D. degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at the George Washington University. She then took on the role of a postdoc researcher at the Center for Mind and Brain, UC Davis, and investigated the cognitive and neural mechanisms of human perception and attention. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Culture Technology, KAIST and the head of the Visual Cognition Lab, which is focused on investigating the mechanisms of how people process and represent information in the brain in traditional as well as in novel (e.g., XR, Game) media environments. Her research interests include perception, attention, cognitive neuroscience, AR/VR, and HCI.
